99. Sketches and an Update

I finished the ornaments, I am just waiting for some decent sunlight so I can take some good pictures of them. Hopefully I should have another post tomorrow with the finished pictures.

For now I have a bunch of quick sketches I did this week.

Society6 has also started selling pillows. The pillow section of my store is located here - http://society6.com/SVaeth/pillows.  When they added this section they used the files that were currently posted for them. So some of them are fine and look correct, while others need to be fixed. I am in the process of creating / fixing the file sizes for some of the pieces so that they look correct. I am going to be updating them throughout the week, and should have all the files fixed by next Sunday.

83. A Monocle, a Hook, and a Mustache

This is just a quick sketch to practice in photoshop more. I think on Monday I will have a few sketches for pieces I want to start.

82. Tentacle - finished

Here is the finished tentacle piece "Ursula." Like "Hook" this one is also up for scoring on threadless for their Disney villain design challenge. With the holiday this week I don't think I will have another post until late next week. I have also included a random sketch at the end of the post. Thank you to anyone who votes on these I greatly appreciate it.

81. Tentacle - In progress

I finished the outlines for "Tentacle" and as long as my computer holds up it should be finished tomorrow. I am still working on the suction cups a little.

I also have "Hook" up for voting at threadless for their Disney villains design challenge.

80. Hook - Finished

Just a quick update with the finished "Hook" piece. I am going to start working on the necklace sketch now and I hope to have it finished in a day or three.

79. Hook - In progress

I ran into a bunch of computer problems this week. I thought I had them fixed yesterday, but ended up running into a new one. I had "hook" almost finished and then without warning my computer shut it self down. Since then it has been restarting or shutting it self down repeatedly. I think it may be over heating but I am not 100% sure right now.  I am going to be leaving it shut down for a while and hopefully finish this piece late tonight or tomorrow morning.

So for now here is the progress parts that I have. The first is is the outlines for the pieces. The second is the last piece of saved progress I have, but it ended up being an .eps file instead of an Ai file. So I am still basically back to working from outlines only.

The only thing I had complete that is not in the second image is the hook itself and some of the cuff.

78. A Hook and a Necklace

These are sketches for two pieces I am working on. I am hoping to have another progress update on at least one of them by Monday or Tuesday. I went canoeing earlier this week so I am also going through a bunch of photo's. I plan to work up a couple and put them in my Society6 store by Wednesday or Thursday.
