123. A Birthday Card and Sketches Days: 217 to 229

     I ended up making a birthday between yesterday and today. It is for an upcoming birthday as well as trying to get back into doing quilling and pop up pieces again. The first picture is the sketch for the card and the rest are the front and inside. The pictures aren't that great, I still need to get around to rearranging furniture so I have a better area to take pictures. I am not really sure what I will be working on this week, because I want to keep up on doing more quilling and popup stuff I may end up making christmas cards.

107. Birthday Flowers and Cards

     Here are the pictures for the completed Birthday flowers and cards. The lilies were not working to well with the paper I wanted to use, so I ended up making five different color roses for each present instead. I may try to work on the lilies again, possibly for Easter and just try different paper.

     I will have another blog post tomorrow with the daily sketches I have been doing; it should be days 76 to 87. I am also going to try and have some rough ideas for calendar designs done as well.

106. A Birthday card and Sketches: days 73 to 75

     This is the first of three birthday cards I plan to make. I wanted to keep these fairly simple because they will each go with a set of six paper flowers. I plan to make the 'Happy Birthday' on the last two cards a bit darker and each will have a different colored set of balloons. I think I should have the last two cards and last three purple roses done this weekend. After that I just need to finish the lilies. So I am thinking that I should have the entire set of flowers and the cards put together the weekend after valentines day. Which would luckily put me way ahead of time since the first Birthday isn't until the beginning of March and the next two are not until the beginning of April. When I finish all of the cards and flowers I plan to take better pictures of everything grouped together.

     Once I finish the birthday stuff I have a few ideas for 2014 calendar designs I want to start. I also have a few ideas for a small Easter project. But I am not completely sure about it, I may not have time to actually finish it before Easter. I have to just see what is going on and play it by ear.

54. New Cards and Sketches

This will be a somewhat big post. First are quick images for the new birthday cards I did. I am planning by noon tomorrow to have much better pictures and to have two of the cards in my shop. I am planning to sell a 4 x 6 inch with one candle and a 5 x 7 inch with 3 candles, both will come with handmade white envelops as well. The other three are for up coming birthdays.

The next are sketches for blank note cards / thank you cards. These are all fairly rough sketches right now. My plan is to have each card be either 4 x 5 inches or 3 x 5 inches. I am planning to make and sell these in my shop in sets of five with handmade envelops as well. The empire and republic ones are still iffy, but if i do make some of those I am thinking of also screen printing the symbols on the envelops that come with them. I am also thinking of making the card in two versions, one that will be a die-cut version, and the second being screen printed.

The last thing is the new image of all my existing Etsy shop items. These are much better than the old ones and show off the items more.  I have a few society6 prints planned so I am hoping there will be another post by the end of the week, including at least one of the prints and the first progress on the quilled woodstock from my last post.
