140. Ornaments and Sketches Days: 384 to 393

     I had originally planned different ornaments but they were not coming out how I wanted and I just did not have enough time to figure out the issues. Because of that I went with my backup of just sets of origami stars. I ended up making five sets of seven ornaments each that all look basically identical so I only took pictures of one set. The rest of the pictures are sketch dailies for days 384 to 393. I probably wont have another post until after New Years so Happy Holidays to everyone.

139. Last Xmas Card and Sketches Days: 381 to 383

     I finished the last card I plan to make. I am now starting on some small ornaments I may have a post with at least some of them this weekend or on Monday. 138. Fourth Xmas Card and Sketches Days: 379 to 380

     I finished the fourth Xmas card and have started working on the fifth and final one. I am thinking I should be able to finish it on Tuesday or Wednesday. After that I have some small paper ornaments I will start working on. The rest of the pictures are for sketch dailies days: 379 to 380.

136. Second Xmas card and Sketches Days: 366 to 373

     I finished the second of the five cards and the next three are sketched out. I fixed the issues I had with the first card but ended up running into a few new ones that I think I have figured out and should have fixed for the rest of them.

     The rest of the pictures are more sketch dailies for days 366 to 373.  Now that the holiday is over I want to try and focus on doing them digital instead of ink.  Society6 also now has free shipping thru Cyber Monday (tomorrow) http://society6.com/SVaeth.      The Yogscast has also started their charity live streams today. They stream everyday in December to raise money for charity.  They are raising money for five different charities this year, and the streams usually start around 2 pm EST and go to whenever, probably at least 5pm EST but it is currently almost 9 pm EST and they just finished streaming. 135. First Xmas Card and Sketches Days: 362 to 365

     Here is the first of five xmas cards I plan to make. There are some issues with it but I figured out how to fix them for the rest of the cards. I ended up using the photo box for these pictures, but I will probably go back to just using day light for now. The cards are kinda of  big for the box I made and I definitely need to get a second lamp.

     The rest of the pictures are sketch dailies for days 362 to 365, so a year of sketching every day is done. The last picture is the pile of all of them. I am probably going to stick to it just because it has become habit at this point. I may try to focus on doing more of them digital.

134. Update and Sketches Days: 352 to 361

Kind of a big update post as well as sketches for days 352 to 361.

Society6 has updated the tote bags they sell http://society6.com/SVaeth/bags. They have changed the bags so that they now have each piece covering the entire bag. When they did this they used the existing art that was uploaded for pillows. Because of this most of them look correct on the bags, without any odd cutoffs. There are a few that I need to re-size so that they look right on the bags without making the pillows look off.

They have also added mugs http://society6.com/SVaeth/mugs. I am not sure which uploaded art they used but they added a new section to upload a file specifically for mugs. Some of the mugs look fine, but the majority I need to go through and fix. 

For both the pillows and the toe bags I am not sure when I will get a chance to fix the art, it might end not happening until after Christmas. Right now I am focused on getting stuff done for Christmas.

I had sketched and cut one card, but it ended up having issues and I didn't like how it turned out. I have another card sketched already. My plan today is to tighten it up and get it ready to completely ready to cut and then cut and put it together tomorrow. Depending on how long it takes I might have to finish it on Thursday. I am hoping to post it on Thursday or Friday. I finally got around to making a photo box so if everything works out I should be able to take pictures right away instead of hoping for a decent amount of sunlight.

After this card there are four more cards I plan to do I want to have them all sketched out by Monday and then hopefully start cutting the second one on Tuesday and maybe have the third done by Friday. I want to hopefully stick to this schedule and have all the cards done on the first week in December. I am behind on Christmas stuff this year so I am hoping nothing comes up and throws this off. But with Thanksgiving next week I have no idea.
